Danfay Newlands to open on Friday 1st of March
As a manufacturer Yamaha have been making machines in Japan since early in the 1950s. As well as motorcycles they also have a successful music instrument business. Indeed this aspect of the operation is where the tuning fork logo on every Yamaha motorcycle comes from. Since then outboard motors have joined the range as have golf carts and most recently a new range of E-Bikes.
Now on Friday March 1st, Danfay, Irelands Yamaha distributor will break new ground in the Irish motorcycle business. They will be opening the first dedicated Yamaha retail store in the country. The new home of all that rolls on two wheels, and sometimes three, will be offered for sale to the existing motorcycle community as well as welcoming newcomers to the fold with a full choice of machinery to suit all motorcycle licences.
The new store will be dedicated to motorcycles only and as well as having the full range in stock they’ll also have demonstrator machines available to ride. In addition to this the after market pieces from a full range of GYTR accessories, consumables such as oil and a range of official clothing will be in stock.
One of the more significant parts of the store will be the full workshop. With a full, one of a kind in the country, diagnostic service this will make the new business a complete one stop shop for everything Yamaha here in Ireland.
The new store nods its head to the original company, as well as its location, being called Danfay Newlands. The post code is D22 K583, so use Exit 2 on the M7 and follow the road to Newlands cross. They’re open for business from next Friday, the 1st of March. Drop by and be prepared to be impressed.
We here at MOL wish the team many years of success and a huge welcome to the Irish market.
