The biggest show in this part of the world
Some of the biggest names interviewed at the show
What is now Irelands biggest motorcycle show, Motorcycle Live, opens this weekend at the NEC in Birmingham. The show runs from this Saturday, the 16th of November until the 24th.
All the brands under one roof...
This year the organisers have added to the event in a significant way with it being more of an event more than just a show. There’s a whole lot to see, but there’s also a whole lot to do. And we’re looking forward to doing some of them.
The full range of Kawasaki bikes on display
Jamie Whitham is back and talking to some of the fastest riders in the paddock over the entire show. A lady by the name of Grace Webb will be hosting the expert lab where she’ll be talking to experts about all the latest tech and a selection of ‘how to’ presentations.
Icons like BSA up close and personnal
There’s a Sim Racing Challenge where visitors can race each other around a virtual Donington on. There are, of course, prizes for the fastest laps.
Getting out on a bike is part of the fun. From traditional machines to electric, on road and off, there will even be bikes for children to try and a rolling road for those who have yet to ride a bike.
Entertainment includes a stunt display
Entertainment will be the newly added big attraction this year. Yamaha are sponsoring live music from a host of performers and bands. Also on display are the Arenacross FMX team in addition to a live stunt show.
Getting there couldn’t be easier with up to four flights a day from Dublin and once you’ve landed in Birmingham it’s just a short monorail ride to the show. Tickets are available from www.motorcyclelive.co.uk
It's been a couple of decades since Suzuki won BSB, but they're still putting the bike on display...
