It’s 2025 and the Harley-Davidson event of the year, BikeFest has been announced for the end of May from the 28th until the 1st of June. As per previous years, this year will be the 17th year that it’s run, there’s a whole host of things happening. The bike village will feature music, bars, vendors of all sorts of stuff. The team from Waterford Harley Davidson will also be in attendance with a selection of bikes to test ride as well as a full pop-up store with a comprehensive range of clothing and accessories.

Earlier in April this year the store launched the ’25 range with an open day. Now the new machinery will be available to test ride again in Killarney over the weekend. In order to ride any of these bikes riders will simply need to register and book the steed they would like to check out on the weekend with the team.

As a ‘neighbourhood’ to test ride a bike in goes, the surrounding roads are nothing short of exceptional, indeed Kerry is something of a motorcycle paradise.  The new fleet can be booked to test from the Harley-Davidson Experience Zone in the bike village. The requirements are simple, riders will need a full motorcycle licence, an approved helmet with full PPE including, jacket, gloves, trousers, and boots.

Also on the fleet is the Street Glide

Those new 2025 Models include the very special CVO Street Glide, the Breakout, a Low Rider ST, the iconic Fatboy, a Road King Special, the new Nightster S, a Street Glide and the new, road biased, Pan America ST

Riding some of the best prepared and presented used bikes can be arranged with Mo at the Waterford Harley Davidson area where all the real fun is to be had.

Finally, there’s a chance to win a H-D by buying a ticket for €5 to help raise money for the events charity partner, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Yes indeed, BikeFest is back in all its glory.
