Track Prepped 'Blade for sale
Looking fast while just sitting there...
We’ve found a tricked out 2011 Fireblade belonging to our mate Lee, a Kildare native and passable human being. I noticed it at a www.motocraft.ie event Aragon earlier this year. It’s been converted for track use only, has all the goodies and looks the business.
The spring setup is the kind of stuff that racers could only dream of with Ohlins front internals as well as an Ohlins TTX rear shock. The set up is done for a tall and muscular 94kg rider but can be tuned for different peoples weight and, indeed, their riding style.
A standard engine is complimented with a full race exhaust. This is made with an Akrapovic end can with a set of Leo Vince headers and link pipe. The gearing, meanwhile, comes compliments of a new 520 chain and sprockets. The sprockets are 16/45 and the bike comes with new spare rear sprockets. A Domino Quick Action Throttle, fitted with matching cables facilitates the going fast bit.
Somewhere to rest ones feet...
Stopping is done via a Brembo master cylinder and T-Drive discs as well as a set of Hell braided lines on both the front and back brakes. The bike also comes with a set of standard Honda front discs.
Managing all this fun is a Bazaz Traction Control system with two maps. The switches for the same are mounted on the handlebars.
The bike is dressed with a pair of PP Tuning rear sets, set of GB engine case covers as well as a pair of adjustable clip-ons. There is, of course, a quick release full cap and the bike is fitted with a light weight lithium battery. That last one goes some way towards mitigating the 94 kilo issue mentioned earlier. The gear selector guard is one of those pieces that just looks so cool!
A set of new neck stock bearings were fitted at the last service along with new iridium plugs, a Highfow filter and fresh Motul oil.
Well sprung!
Finally, the ‘Blade is dressed in full race fairings in a HRC colour scheme with a tall road race screen. A spare race screen also comes as part of the package.
The bike has covered 7,731 miles and wants for nothing. If you fancy owning the best set up Fireblade track bikes in the country than drop Lee a WhatsApp message on 0864674721.
