Arai Aerodynamic Assist

Arai Get Faster

The iconic RX-7V is the culmination of everything that the people at Arai know about producing the ultimate competition-ready motorcycle helmet. To put it mildly, that’s an awful lot! From the strong, smooth and rounded R75 shape shell, to the success in increasing the important glancing-off performance, and the VAS system, these are helmets that are renowned for setting the standard. The ventilation works effectively to keep the riders head cool.

The RX 7 has always been the helmet by which others are judged. For years it’s been the go to helmet for racers. Back when the Arai range was smaller it was the one we chose because we knew it was unmistakably the best. It was the first helmet to be properly vented. And the Japanese lid has always greatly exceeded the legal and race legislators requirements in terms of construction and quality.

Arai have always continued to develop their range and class leader is no different. With access to the very top level of racer on both the roads and the short circuits, the company have always had a heap of data from which to develop their offerings. Now the new RX-7V Racing takes the whole offering one step further with an extra layer of technology. It’s called Arai Aerodynamic Assist.

Arai RX-7V Racing Helmet

Arai Aerodynamic Assist - FIM Approved

The new helmet employs a brand new FIM-approved aero-kit. This smooths out the passage of air between the rear of the helmet and the aero hump on a rider’s leathers, when they are in a tucked-in racing crouch. It’s a whole new design. A new fixed airwing is more aerodynamically efficient than the prototypes developed over the last few seasons by top-flight Arai’s racers. Quite simply, the faster you ride, the more noticeable its effect is. It’s not for commuting in. It’s for riding really fast and winning with.

Other RX-7V Racing details are less obvious but aimed squarely at the extremes of racing; for those that ride fast and like to win your new lid is in stock in Dublin's Megabikes. Call them on 01478 4200 to book yourself a fitting.
