The world of sports bikes is calling you. The new class is using the high specification Yamaha R3 to make that call. The new 300 comes fully equipped with a surprisingly wide range of high-end goodies that reward the rider with outstanding performance. This performance is delivered in package of class-leading quality. It’s also very stylish and would make any A2 licence rider quite pleased with themselves.
The new R3 has bodywork and styling that has very much been inspired by the MotoGP machine raced by Yamaha. That centre air intake makes it look like Rossi’s standby bike! Most of the styling, from the screen to the decal blocks all looks very R1. Even the twin LED lamps just add to the big bike look and feel of the machine.
Yamaha R3 - Agile And Sporty
The power is supplied by a high revving 321cc engine which is still within the parametres for A2 licenced riders. The chassis is both slim as well as light. Thanks to this it offers the rider agile and sporty handling. This is all added to in just about every other aspect of the bike. The front end is dressed with a set of premium 37mm KYB inverted forks. Meanwhile the fuel tank is set low and the ergonomic handlebar position is lower too. The bike comes as standard on a set of supersport tyres which sit on a set of lightweight wheels. The chassis and all that sit on it deliver a perfect 50 - 50 weight distribution.
Digital LCD multi-function instruments finish the machine and just like every other model in the Yamaha R-Series, this is designed and manufactured to give the rider a thrilling ride each and every time they get on the bike. The R3 is a supersport bike that has been built without compromise. All this is so that you can enjoy pure riding excitement. And if it gets too exciting there is always a full ABS system to take advantage of if you need it!
